Standard Warranty:
The warranty period is specified on each product specification table. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship, dead pixels excluded, during the warranty period, ViewEra will repair or replace the defective item with new or factory rebuilt replacement at ViewEra´s discretion. ViewEra provides no warranty for the third party software included with the product or installed by the customer. The parts and/or products that are replaced become the property of ViewEra. These warranties apply to the original consumer purchaser and to no other purchaser or transferee. Proof of purchase in the form of a bill of sale, invoice or sales receipt which is evidence that the unit is within the warranty period must be presented to obtain warranty service. If a copy of the original proof-of-purchase is not available, the warranty period will be considered to begin from the date of manufacture plus two (2) months. This warranty only covers the continental United States.

Refurbished or Discontinued Product Warranty:
ViewEra warrants the refurbished products for a period of three (3) months on parts, labor and LCD module(panel & backlight). For discontinued products, the warranty period may be reduced to one year for all parts and labor.

Dead Pixel Policy:
ViewEra will replace the product if the number of dead pixels in a LCD panel exceeds 5 within the first year of original consumer purchase.
For the models of no-dead-pixel warranty, ViewEra will replace the monitor or LCD panel if any pixel malfunctions within 6 months of purchase.

Warranty Service Option:
1.
Dead-On-Arrival (DOA) Service: DOA (Dead on Arrival) units purchased within the first 30 days of the purchase date of the monitor, ViewEra will replace or repair a defective unit at no cost and ship it out within 24 hours after receipt of the unit. ViewEra pays round-trip shipping charges in the continental United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. DOA product problem must be reported during the DOA period. All products described as DOA will be checked upon receipt. A minimum of $35.00 set-up fee may be charged for any product described as DOA that is not received in that condition. DOA products may be returned to the reseller, whom you purchased the product from, for credit. The return or refund policy for each reseller may vary.

"Cross-shipping" Service: ViewEra can ship a replacement unit before we receive your unit returned for repair. You are entitled to the option of "Cross-ship" service under the terms and conditions as below.

Must provide proof of purchase(original sales receipt) with the RMA request form.
  •  

Under this option, ViewEra ships the customer a replacement unit. You will be required to fill out a credit card authorization form to provide a valid credit card number, with the account in good standing, as a collateral in order to secure the value of the return unit.

  •  
The customer is responsible for cross-shipping charges of the return unit and the replacement unit if the RMA is requested after 30 days from the date of purchase. ViewEra will pay ground shipping charges for both ways if the RMA is requested within 30 days from the date of purchase.
  •  
Your credit card will be charged if the return unit is not shipped out within 10 business days from the date which ViewEra sends the replacement or if there is any damage to the LCD panel or monitor cabinet.
Warranty Exclusions:
1. This limited warranty does not extend to:
a. Any product not purchased from the ViewEra authorized reseller.
b. Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.
   
2. This limited warranty also does not cover to any product that has been damaged, deterioration or malfunction resulting from:
a.
Use of the product other than for its normal intended use, or other misuse, abuse, mishandling or negligence to the product;
b. Use of supplies or parts not manufactured or sold by ViewEra
c. Service or modification by anyone other than ViewEra or a ViewEra authorized service provider,
d.
Failure of following the manufacturer's instruction with respect to proper handling, operation, installation, usage, service and maintenance of the monitor.
e. Improper shipping, transportation or packaging
f. Accident of any kind, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or other acts of God.
g. Improper environment (including excessive or inadequate temperature or humidity);
h.
Unusual physical or electrical stress or interference, failure or fluctuation of electrical power, lightning, static elec-modifications made by customer or at customer's request
i. Improper removal, installation or maintenance of the product.
j. Software and hardware incompatibilities of other parties' products.
k.
Cracked, scratched, broken or modified plastics; other cosmetic damage; parts that have been cut off, altered, defaced, removed or the scratching.
l. Cracking or breakage of the LCD panel.
m. Burned pixels on LCD panels except for specific models.
n. Normal wear and tear.
o. Any other cause which does not relate to a product defect.

ViewEra is not responsible for damage to or loss of any programs, data or removable storage media. You are responsible for saving (backing up) any programs, data or removable storage media
   
4. This limited warranty does not cover removal, installation, and set-up service charges.
Limitation of Implied Warranties:
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CONSTITUES THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY AND REMEDY WITH RESPECT TO ANY DEFECTIVE VIEWERA PRODUCT AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER OBLIGATIONS OR LIABILITIES OF VIEWERA. ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMTED TO ANY WARRANTY OF MERCANTBILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE OF PURPOSE VIEWERA'S LIABILITY, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, STRICT LIABILITY, TORT, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE PRICE OF THE INDIVIDUAL UNIT WHOSE DEFECT OR DAMAGE IS THE BASIS OF THE CLAIM. OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL LOSSES AND DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING OUR NEGLIGENCE , ALLEGED DAMAGE OR DEFECTIVE GOODS, WHETHER SUCH DEFECTS ARE DISCOVERABLE OR LATENT, SHALL IN NO EVENT EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MONITOR. WE SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY CAUSED BY ANY DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT, DAMAGES BASED UPON INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, LOSS OF TIME, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, INTERFERENCE WITH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL LOSS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES, WHETHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE PRECEDING LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO ALL PURCHASERS. THIS WARRANTY GIVES THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. THIS IS THE ONLY WARRANTY APPLICABLE; NO ONE IS AUTHOUIZED TO EXTEND OR MODIFY IT OR TO GRANT ANY OTHER WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IN THE CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, EXCLUDING TERRITORIES AND PROTECTORATES.

NOTE:
  •  
DO NOT open the monitor housing under any circumstances. By opening the monitor housing you will expose yourself to possible electrical dangers and void all warranties.
  •  
Any attachments are not to be shipped with the monitor (i.e. base, cords if removable, manual). Only during first year of warranty will ViewEra be responsible for return shipment.
Repair Service:
  Under Warranty Policy :
1.
ViewEra strives to keep our repair times to a minimum (on average 2 to 3 business days upon receipt, excluding the necessary shipping time).
2.
DOA (Dead on Arrival) units within the first 30 days of the purchase date of the monitor, ViewEra will replace a defective unit with a new product at no cost and ship it out within 24 hours after receipt of the unit. ViewEra pays round-trip shipping cost.
3.
Under the standard warranty, ViewEra will repair a defective product at no cost, and pay to ship it back to customer. The customer will pay inbound shipping cost to ViewEra.
4.
ViewEra Corporation is not responsible for any costs associated with the transportation of product across US international borders. This includes the international borders of the countries within this warranty statements.
5.
Suitable packaging must be used for warranty repair returns. If the unit sustains shipping damage, the warranty will be void and an applicable repair fee will be assessed accordingly. Should the unit become a "shipment damage" claim, ViewEra will not be responsible for warehousing the unit during the claim investigation. Any shipment damage claim(s) is solely between the customer and the carrier, ViewEra Corporation assumes no responsibility.
   
  Out-of-Warranty Policy:
1. Customer will prepay for shipping both ways, plus parts and labor.
2.
If you decline estimate of OUT OF WARRANTY repair and request the monitors return, you will incur return shipping charge and diagnosis fee. You may select to have the product disposed of at out repair center; there is no fee for this service.
3.
For out-of-warranty service, ViewEra will tell the customer clearly the unit is out of warranty when issuing an RMA number and quote for repair fee which can be applied to the monitor if repair is needed. The labor cost of repairing a ViewEra LCD monitor will covers repair labor, monitor testing and 90-day warranty. Parts will be quoted based on availability and with reasonable market price at time when services are requested.
   
ALL RMA'S ARE VALID FOR TEN (10) DAYS FROM THE ISSUE DATE AND ARE NOT TO EXCEED THE TERM OF THE ORGINAL WARRANTY. IF THE UNIT IS NOT RETURNED WITHIN THIS TIME FRAME, THE RMA WILL BE CANCELLED. WARRANTY REPAIRS CAN TAKE UP TO FOURTEEN (14) DAYS UPON RECEIPT AT OUR REPAIR FACILITY.
Warranty Registration:
You may register your purchase by visiting our site at www.viewera.com. We recommend that you complete the registration, however, submission of the registration form is voluntary. If you fail to do so, it does not affect the standard warranty coverage as long as the proof of purchase is provided.
